In a few words:
Since we are entering autumn, I thought that it could be a good idea to post something melancholic and atmospheric. On Thorns I Lay is a Greek band that plays something between Katatonia and Anathema. I believe that probably Crystal Tears is their masterpiece. Here they combining the "dry" guitar sound, with the "warm" sound of piano and cello, the rhythmic riffs with the beautiful melodies and the male with female vocals, creating a unique atmosphere. The songs have a lot of variety but the album "flows" easily as a whole. I first listened to this album back at 2000 and is one of my favorite atmospheric albums of all time. Highly recommended!
